I know someone who has one of these, I spent about an hour with it once. If your music involves alternative tuning systems you might want to check this out. You use the pots that are laid out like a keyboard to change the tuning of the intervals. So you can listen to beats and tune up pure intervals instead of equal tempered ones. Plus, I think the whole thing is tube-based.
