ReplyDeleteOops, lemme rephrase that..I think she rules and so does old greg. But i like the minimoog running into the crab better.
ReplyDeletegawd, the mighty boosh confuses me...what were we talking about?
Damn, she's humping those keys. Good performance. She seems very familiar with belly dance techniques. No sarcasm with that observation.
ReplyDeleteI would do bad things to her. Good, bad things.
ReplyDeleteThat was righteous as hell!
ReplyDeletebut is she the funk?
ReplyDeleteThis really reminds me of an absolutely hillarious video that I just can´t seem to find right now.
ReplyDeleteIt is an east-european girl playing a solo on a strap-on keyboard, but the keyboard is mounted on a stand so she is more free to move her body while she plays. She is no doubt classicly trained, but nevertheless less the music is horrible. The music is pre-recorded but her playing is live.
If somebody knows this vid and also knows how to find it, please throw it here.

i must say in a most unironic fashion that is the most fabulous and arousing thing i've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteI think lars is referring to this video. Joking aside, I do agree with Analog Suicide.
ReplyDeleteWhat I wanted to say is more power to Elena. I think what she is doing is actually pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteOK, I'll admit that I've been very "anti-Synth Babe" since the beginning. But THIS. Wow. It's as if the energy of Keith Emerson (back in the day) was channeled in its entirety through a sensual female form instead.
ReplyDeleteThere will never be a better YouTube video.
Now if only I could make my modular sound like Mark Shreeve my life would be complete.
Thanks guys for the link. Belinda it is. She even has a website:

The world is surely full of wonders (not knowing if I should laugh or cry though...).
Hopefully laugh. She should be proud. I definitely can't play like that. And I'm sure no one would want to see me dressed like that. :) More power to her.
