Quasimidi Sirius

via this auction

It's listed as a Virtual Analog, but I seem to recall it being PCM based without any modeling. Maybe the filters were modeled? If you know feel free to comment. The Polymorph was a combination of PCM and VA.

Note the Carrier-In and Analyze-In in the fourth to last shot.

  1. Per page 22 of the manual, it has 125 "oscillator models". It's set up like a VA or actually 3 VA synths. As the manual states on page seven; it's a sequencer, a drum computer, 3 polyphonic synthisizers, an arpeggiator, a covoder, a beat recognition system and even 2 effects units.

There is only one oscillator model per "synth" but some are really phat sounding, including the mellotron choir (my fav). It also has sine waves, several sawtooth waves, square waves and lots of other spectoral & FX oscillators.

I have one but rarely use it.
