"Hi, this is a prototype synth (DX-2000) from Yamaha I bought off of some one who worked there. It was a concept that was never actualized. The synth works identically to the FM8 software and has several effects and operators can call up pre recorded wav sounds which can be loaded in via USB. It features a sequencer and 200 notes polyphony. I have two and am selling one. The unit is one of a kind, you will not find this any where else. I will consider any trades or offers." Anyone know more about this? I sent an email in to see if I can get some shots. I'll report back if they come in.

To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

ReplyDeleteWhat's odd is the date is "Date: 2008-11-14, 2:17AM EST"
ReplyDeletei say, bogus.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like something someone would have made up 6 years ago and not last november. Thats the weird part to me.
ReplyDeleteDX200 maybe? But the DX200 doesn't do sample dumps or any sort of FS1r type of stuff, right?
ReplyDeleteIt's "one of a kind", but somehow he has two? heh
ReplyDeleteIt has scam written all over it. USB, wave dumps, and an odd 200 poly limit. BS, BS, BS.
