Sharp IQ-5000 talking translator voice synth

"It talks, translates, and is a lot of fun! Robot voices in English<-->Japanese. It was manufactured in 1981, I believe. Kraftwerk used it in one of their interviews conducted in Japan during their Computer World tour. There is an audio out and built in speaker, as pictured. It is a must have if you like early speech synthesis gadgets! From manual: Most used sentences (Japanese) -152; Japanese words - approx. 2000; Most used sentences (English) - 152; English Words approx. 2000. VOICE - Most used sentences (English) - 152; English words - approx. 400; English characters - 26; Japanese characters - 84; Japanese numerals 10."
