  1. that's Robert Mason and his Stardrive synthesiser.

    there are 2 Stardrive albums, and AFAIK they are the only examples of 70s synth DIY fusion jazz.

    i personally think those records are fucking incredible.

  5. Bought the "Intergalactic Trot" album when it first came out. Only reason I kept it as long as I did was the sax playing of the late Michael Brecker. Thought the synth was totally unimpressive.
