Yamaha TG77 Display Upgrade / Replacement

"I finally got around to changing the display on my ancient and illegible
Yamaha TG77. The backlight died several years ago and this wonderful machine
has been sitting more or less idle in my rack ever since.

There wasn't much to the upgrade process. I just followed some instructions
here

  1. I did the same! Took couple hours to replace, i ended to get that same white/blue colors as you did. =)

    I also want to do this. Already switched the backlight foil, but I am not satisfied. Where can I such a dispaly. I searched for some time, but was not successful.
