Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

Oh my god...
ReplyDeleteThey’re remaking the Fairlight.
Like...the FAIRLIGHT.
My legs have gone funny... *wheeze*
... i can’t breathe!
:D
wow ... that's a teaser!
ReplyDeleteJust ... well ... you know ... most of the sound is because of this old wacky circuit design.
However, it for sure's drawn my attention! ;-)
Hope its going to be much more comapct!
(Gotta show this to Alex Guelfenburg and wonder what he thinks/says)
Michael.
Does the Fairlight sound good? It always sounded like a pretty dated sampler with little flexibility to me.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate its history and all that, but my heart supports the Synclavier. The Synclavier sounds more musical.
I've owned a Synclavier...a Fairlight series III and a IIx.
ReplyDeleteThe only one I kept and still use....the IIx.
