I just recently acquired an Omnichord OM100, and discovered that the OM100 and OM200 apparently have the same exact boards and OS (the ROM chip was labeled "OM100/200"). The difference would appear to be that the OM200 just has the PCBs fully populated to provide its extra functionality.
ReplyDeleteI was able to add MIDI out functionality just by adding 4 resistors and a MIDI jack (the PCB had spots for ferrite beads, but I just used jumper wires). The MIDI works exactly as decribed in the OM200 documentation.
Is it possible to add a midi out function to a OM-84 system 2 model?
