ReplyDeleteThat guy reminds me of bubbles from the tv show Trailer Park Boys. That's a compliment btw.
ReplyDeleteonce again amazing sounds from the martian, and that is one lovely MMM.
ReplyDeletebut damn! BC's got the posture of my 85 year old granny. i guess that's what decades of hanging a guitar on your body every night does to you. i feel for you my man...
It's interesting that he's so into synths... you wouldn't guess it from most of the Smashing Pumpkins music.
ReplyDeletewonder how big the user's manual is.
ReplyDeleteIchabod is the MMMM: the Massive MMM.
ReplyDeleteKudos to George for building it and Billy for commissioning it.
Are those racks of Doepfer gear in the lower section?
I hope that is all connected at the back, looks like it could fall over easily if not
ReplyDeleteSAFETY FIRST :-)
I would've watched another hour of them talking/patching.
ReplyDelete*fyeah*
Regarding stability, George had the following to say: "The main cabinets are thicker than the satellite cabinets which helps with the stability but, gives an illusion of being thin. The main cabinets are 5.5” deep while the satellites are 3.5” deep. All cabinets are interlocked vertically to create solidity between cabinets and the satellites being angled forward provide a good counter balance. It’s stable."
