Serge Like Synth DIY - Panel 2 Test 1

YouTube via pickleinn
"The second panel is finished - its the upper panel in the test. It contains, from left to right: 3 VCO's, 3 channel mixer, dual low pass gate, steiner filter, bi-n-tic filter, cascading band pass filter. In this video I am testing the bi-n-tic and LPG using some control voltage from the sequencer panel. The Yellow geiger counter is the power supply."

"Here is the complete system put together. Only the top and bottom panels are wired so far, but the middle panel will be wired up soon.

Its a DIY synth built with mostly cgs pcb's and a few others. the case is a buchla inspired folding case but i havent routed power between each boat yet."

  1. That is majorly cool. Very nice job on the construction, looks great so far. Is that xlr connection on the top for power? Sounds great.

  2. Thanks guys! yes, that is an xlr connector for power (pin 1 is +15V, pin 2 is -15V and pin 3 is ground). I had them laying around, so it was a cost saver.
