"Introducing the Make Noise Maths, now available. Priced at $280 and requiring 20 HP of space in a Eurorack case, they consume only about 60mA of current. Check out the user manual here (it features some nice patch examples). See our webpage for more info: www.analoguehaven.com/makenoise/maths/."

  1. I like the functionality and layout but this looks an aweful lot like a Serge slope generator. I love the Serge slope generator and all, and there is a shortage of said functionality in the Frac/euro space - but if this is just a knock of the Serge I'd be a bit disappointed. Guess one won't know until we get a peek at the components on the PCB.

  3. It achieves most of the functionality of 257, 281 and DUSG using a handful of op-amps & diodes where the 281 uses Logic & OTA and the DUSG uses Norton Amps & transistors. New circuit, same fun tricks.

  4. It's not too much like the Serge Slope Generators. Dosen't have nearly the wide range or 1v/oct control inputs, so its not great for audio (the Serge is great for audio). Dosen't have as much voltage control or bipolar attenuators on the rise/fall. It has selections for the shape (log lin exp) where the Serge has patch programmable continuous shaping. It looks a lot more like 1/2 of a Buchla AD envelope generator with a couple of independent attenuators thrown in. Probably still pretty useful.
