Roland SH-32 Synthesizer

via this auction

I don't know why, but I always liked the look of this synth. The fact that Roland went with ARP-like sliders always intrigued me as well. Anyone know what other Roland gear had them? The Roland EF-303 and MC-09 PhraseLab come to mind.

  1. Ah, the SH-32... my first really good synthesizer...

The old SH-series used the sliders quite a bit, like the SH-09, and perhaps my favorite design, the lovely retro SH-7

  2. The MC-909 does use such sliders for basic envelopes.

  4. Oops. I meant the EF-303, not the MC-303. No sliders on the MC. :)
