That's more than the balance of my mortgage. PASS.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you complaining about? Earlier today, there was a TB303 for 1100 pounds.
ReplyDeleteonly $46K? i'll take 3!
ReplyDeletelol. the cabinets aren't even full. sure it looks clean and all but i'd be surprised if some collector pics it up in this economy.
Not a real 55. No sequencer--and where's the keyboard??
ReplyDelete@steve, you'd be surprised ;) yes, it's not a full 55, but the rich are still rich, it's just the poor that got real poor in "this economy". And the rich will always be buying stupidly high-priced stuff.
ReplyDeleteand yes, it's expensive, but think about it, it has 995 attenuators!
*baboom-tsch*
A much bigger Moog IIIc w/sequencer complement went for about 2/3 of the price on Vemia a few weeks back.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a stock 55A. Moog offered the model 55A without the sequencer. This one was made in the early eighties. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWaste of money. $46k can buy ALOT of modern modular that sounds just the same, or better, and offers more features. Sure, MOOG mystique is cool, but unless you are going to put that in a museum, why bother?
ReplyDeletewhat a ridiculous price. for the same amount of money i could buy TWO Buchla Music Easels!
