"Fantasie" - and a digital synthesizer

"Some people might call me mad. But I have decided to build a digital synthesizer without a microprocessor!
And after building it I can say that it actually works. It cannot emulate other instruments. But it has a special sound of it's own. I will demonstrate it in another video so this time I am ony building it.
The melody line of the music in this video is played on the Technics SX-C600 organ while the orchestra runs as a MIDI file on my old PC with a Yamaha XG soundcard."
