This is very cool to me, because one of my favourite "digital" artists is Yuzo Koshiro - I had a Sega Mega Drive/Genesis right from the start and it seemed like his amazing pumping tunes making the most out of the Yamaha FM chip in the hardware were in every other game.
ReplyDeleteShinobi, Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle to name just two series he's composed for. He's still active today I think, making amazing trance-like music but with that unique Japanese touch.
