Roland SH 1000

YouTube via Dovinia
"Here's a little improvisation made by multi tracking an old SH-1000 a few times. All sounds are from the SH-1000. The only effects added are a Deluxe Memory Man analog delay and a little bit of a Deluxe Electric Mistress analog flanger.

Unfortunately the noise generator does not emit any sound on this particular synth. It seems to work, since the random note generator (which takes its note data from the noise generator) is fully functional. Maybe it's just a bad switch ? If anyone has any experience with this kind of problem, please drop me a line. :-) Thanks.

EDIT: Easy fix. It was just a loose cable at the back of the Noise tab. Damn I wish I'd never sold this synth..."

  2. I have a similar problem with my SH-1000 and the noise/random note generator. But in my case the noise gen. works perfectly but when the random note is switched on, it just holds a single note (de CV does not seem to be modulated). Any idea how to fix this?
