The Parade That's Electrical Takes A Lot Of Juice Just To Impress Us

"Another 'quick one' for fun. Even though I thought of putting some solos, drums, percussion and other supporting tracks to this sequence, I thought it was nice as is. This reminds me a little of my peice The Last King (both my version that is here on my You Tube channel and the collaberation version I did with Martin Peters found on the Synthesizers.com Collective 2009 CD)

Thanks to No Doubt for the title! ;-)

We Don't Need No Syncing Bad Jams!

"I was experimenting with the Synth Tech MOTM-650 MIDI-CV converter's arrpegiator sending MIDI clock out to the Moon M553 MIDI2CV converter and syncing up the M569 sequencer etc. It turned into something I wanted to preserve by recording it but, I have another project I really want to get done so I did this one pretty quick. (I was planning on several tracks of Eastern hand drums and full drumset too . . .)

This is the third attempt which was followed by three false starts and then the final take which was the best. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the camera had run out of memory so I only got the first minute of it. :-/ So what you see here is the third attempt with extra bonus mistakes for your viewing amusment! ;-)

Thank you for watching, rating and commenting!"

Something Nice For Your Cat (part 2 re-edit 2010)

"More of the same from part 1 with the lights off! While I think part 1 is 'better' there is a thing or two about part 2 I really like. I had originally uploaded a longer version of part 2 last year but pulled it down quickly because of some really stinky playing. This re-edit gets rid of some, but not all, of the bad parts. Featured are the wonderful sounds of MOTM-300 sine waves passed through MOTM-440 and MOTM-485 filters etc. For more information on MOTM synthesizers go to www.synthtech.com/

Thanks for listening, rating and commenting!"
