Googlish:
"There was once a small, fine blacksmith named Quasimidi synthesizers. Of them have been privileged to produce a manageable number of successful, highly popular digital sound module ...

Among other things, this variator is a modification of [the more familiar "Raven" - different design, Raven-Max] extension and new, unique and powerful sound, designed for the Quasimidi presentation in the Musikmesse Frankfurt in 1997, where he was also the first time was presented.

There is the Quasimidi variator only six times in the world - absolute collector's item and unique opportunity!

There is allegedly one of them owned by Jean-Michel Jarre ...

Multi-Sound Synthesis Algorithm [frequency modulation synthesis, subtractive and additive synthesis].
-43 Effect algorithms, 2 effects simultaneously, both in parallel and in series switchable.
-16 Bit, 24 votes with individual filters, envelopes, LFOs, and amplifiers.
-Interactive 8-track sequencer, following the pattern principle [!!!]. not this fun?

I had bought the variator in the spring of 1997 - soon after the Musikmesse - and still pick myself at Kirchhain Quasimidi.
The synth was the last few years for me to see the house, Dust-wrapped in foil [ Images] and I know him now for the photos have only just revealed.
With a few small wooden cheeks Lackabstoßungen to the right and left no traces of use.
Instrument works perfectly - all the keys, buttons and wheels available + commonplace, display top.

Dimensions: 105 * 40 * 11 cm / weight about 14 kg."
