ENSONIQ MIRAGE

YouTube via TheDaydreamSound
"The Mirage was Ensoinq's first sampler and their fist product made in 1984. It had 8 note polyphony, an analog filter and a realtime sequencer that captured anything that played once you hit record. Hitting stop/cancel determined your end point just like a tape recorder. The editing for the Mirage is in HEX code. This way you had could access 256 values from a 2 digit display eg. (00 - FF in Hex = 0-256 in the decimal system)

What's really exciting about the Mirage is that it is an 8 Bit sampler capable of sampling anywhere between 10Khz and 33Khz.

3 Banks of samples and 8 sequences cand be saved on 1 Floppy DSDD disk.
1 Bank can contain up to 16 samples whch are spread across a keyboard. (8 samples on lower half of the keyboard and 8 on the upper half)

This model has 1 mono input and 1 mono output but some models have stereo outputs.

Once Again Thanks for Stopping By!
