Waldorf Blofeld Keyboard - LicenseSL - how to play factory samples

    I can understand your frustration but the updates for the Blofeld are free. Just download them from their site.

    Chris,

    The OS updates are free, but the firmware license required in order to play samples is the "LicenseSL" option, which is still 99 euros.

    The new OS enables you to play samples, but not until you pay the licensing fee and run the "Challenge-Response" firmware on your Blofeld to install the license key.

    Alhough, Noisebug has it for USD $149, which also includes the Waldorf Edition LE.

    Some retailers also bundle the LicenseSL with the Blofeld when they sell it; look around.

    I have not yet purchased the LicenseSL for my Blofeld; still haven't exhausted the possibilities of the synth without samples!
