Dub Techno / Dub Ambient liveset - Home Concert 78

"For the first Home Concert of 2026 I recorded a liveset with Dub Ambient and Dub Techno music. The set starts with three Dub Ambient tracks in the 80bpm range. Followed by two faster Dub Techno tracks featuring sounds from the Super-6 and Oberheim OB6. The sets closes with a slower Dub Techno track with washy chords from the Roland Juno 60. The music of this set is exclusively available here on Youtube until I finish the productions and can upload the music to Bandcamp and the streaming services.

All music was created by a (cat assisted) human. No AI tools were involved in the production of the music and artwork.

Synthwave Techno | Novation Peak + MinilogueXD + MicroMonsta2 + Blofeld | Dawless Live Jam 14

"Melodic synthwave techno live jam performed on my full hardware setup.

That was the first time I used four synthesizers in parallel in a live session. Rig: Novation Peak, Korg Minilogue XD, MicroMonsta2, Waldorf Blofeld, Roland TR-6S, Novation Circuit Tracks (sequencing only), recorded raw to Tascam Model 12.

All performed live, no DAW, no edits."

Waldorf M 1.11 Update Adds Varysaw VA Oscillator, CS80 Based Oscillator, Extensive FM & More

Disclaimer: This is an unofficial add-on to the M user manual, describing some of extra features added from firmware 1.05 up to firmware 1.11. This add-on also covers some complex aspects of the Multi Mode, which remains somewhat unusual.

Algorithms of FW version 1.11:

Varysaw: A VA oscillator ranging from SAW through PULSE to TRI.

Wave (red encoder): Mixes from 0 to 31 from SAW to PULSE; 32 is pure PULSE, and 33 to 63 mixesfrom PULSE to TRI.

Meta parameter: Pulse width for PULSE, adjustable from 5% to 95%.

CSAW: A famous Yamaha CS-80 saw oscillator with mutation towards a parabolic oscillator.

Wave : Controls the amplitude of the “step” component of the saw wave.

Meta parameter: Mixes between this saw wave and the parabolic saw wave.

Waveshpr: A SAW to TRI oscillator fed into a mild waveshaper.

Wave : 0 is pure SAW, 1-62 mixes between SAW and TRI, and 63 is pure TRI.

Meta parameter: Depth of the waveshaper.

TriplSaw: A stack of three SAW oscillators; two are detuned slightly higher and lower than the third.

Wave : Controls the amplitude of the “central” SAW oscillator relative to the two “side” SAWs.

Meta parameter: Detuning factor, from 0 to maximum detune.

S/T Fold: A SIN wave folding oscillator that folds the chosen crossmixed wave between SIN and TRI waves.

Wave : 0 is pure SIN, 1-62 mixes between SIN and TRI, and 63 is pure TRI.

Meta parameter: Folding depth.

FM 2 OP: Classic simple two-operator FM synthesis. OP1 (modulator) generates a sine wave that modulates the phase of OP2 (carrier). Both operators generate sinewaves; the algorithm's output is the carrier signal.

Wave: Maps values from 0 to 63 to harmonics ratios of 1 to 8 in stepped increments.

Meta parameter: Amount of phase modulation applied to the carrier.

W. PROTEIN - SEQUENCING the WAVE/TABLES

"In this video I am passing through (almost!) all waveforms (I’m leaving the last waves for you!), combining them for both oscillators.

This 20 minutes tables and waves variations is almost an authentic Berlin School track, I could only bring some pads and percussions and the jos is done!
And I think this little box will become my main sequence voice!

The sound is crystal clear (some artefacts (I thinks they’re normal for wavetable synths) can be heard, as some processing clicks and pops when changing some parameters - my Blofeld had it too - but all these may also come from a very fast attack and from some wavetables tweaking).
If I'm not changing the tables and the waves, the sound is just fine!
Some distortion may appear because of the output level. Sorry about that!

Both delay and reverb are internal, so as the sequence too (32 steps)."
