Watch Liquid Metal Dance to Dark Drones, VHIKK X

video upload by substatica drones

"Using a VHIKK X to charm a liquid metal/ferrofluid visualizer. A dark ambient exploration with the Forge TME VHIKK X. The VHIKK X is set to Bank 1, Algorithm 2.

VHIKK X - https://nightlife-electronics.com/pro...

3D Printed Eurorack Case - https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadge...

Vhikk X by Forge TME is a multi-algorithm experimental synth workshop specialising in [but not limited to] complex drones/basses, rich textures, and dynamic sfx. It combines sound generation and effects processing into one module with multiple different algorithms.

The nature of the Vhikk X makes it suitable for situations where a compact, ergonomic, and self-contained sound source/processor would be welcome - for example smaller modular systems, or large systems where a self-contained sound island with minimised cognitive overhead would be desirable."

How He Played Live Techno on a Modular Synth — Built Around the Vhikk X

video upload by SynthDad

"I rebuilt my live rig around one module, the Forge TME Vhikk X, and this is the whole setup explained.

I go through every module in the case, what it does in the set, and why it's in there. There's a lot of playing in this one — I wanted you to hear each part in context rather than take my word for it, so most of the talking happens over a running patch.

The Vhikk X is the newest module and the one I'm still learning. It usually gets demoed as a drone voice, which isn't what I do, so I've been pushing it somewhere else. I cover what works, what doesn't, and whether it earns 24HP in a case I have to carry to a gig.

If you're putting together a rig you actually want to play in front of people, rather than one that only works at home, this should be useful."

Talking Vhikk-X with Fletcher from Forge-TME: Signal Flow Podcast Ep5

video upload by The Diary Of A CEO Clips

"In this episode, Tom and Luke are joined by Fletcher from Forge-TME - the brains behind the highly sought-after Vhikk-X Eurorack module - for an extended chat at the Signal Sounds Glasgow HQ.

We cover the origin story of the brand, the development of the module and what owners can expect from the upcoming new algorithms, as well as reflecting on this year’s Superboth and the current modular landscape. Big thanks to Fletcher for coming up to hang out - this one was a lot of fun!

Playing around with Vhikk X by Forge TME

video upload by Stazma and Forge TME

"Today I'm happy to show you some stuff with the Vhikk X by Forge TME.

No proper demo or tutorial here as it's been done quite a bunch of time by other people such as ‪@metamyther‬. Here I'm just having fun and explaining a few things while trying to figure out that beast, but mostly I'm having fun making a great bunch of weird sounds.
Also first try of the Random8 from m8 ‪@mylarmelodies‬ and ‪@Befacosynth‬ ;-)

Have fun!!!"

Noise Meditaton with VHIKK X by Forge Time At Superbooth 2026

video upload by Insect O.

"Finally I had the chance to play with the VHIKK X drone oscillator at Superbooth 2026.The VHIKK X is produced by Australian company Forge Time. In this session I explore its deep drones, unstable textures, and evolving atmospheres. The VHIKK X has a very raw and organic sound that constantly shifts and surprises.

Headphones recommended."

TEAR - Experimental jam #31 // Vhikk X, Moog Subharmonicon, Bitbox

video upload by David Falcon

"Testing this battery powered mobile setup. The Palette case can be powered via powerbank and with the Bitbox micro I can record within the Modular case itself, without the need of any other equipment. The idea behind it is to take it outside to some special places to record, and maybe add some field recordings in the background.

I finally got to try the Vhikk X after a while trying to get one. The first few hours with it I was not very inspired by it, but kept digging and found this small melody that felt pretty emotional. Ironically the drone bass did not come from the Vhikk, but instead from my favorite, the Subharmonicon.

The Bitbox is here because it can do a lot in such small footprint. It is a sampler in the classic sense, but also is acting as a pseudo-Radio Music module with a radio sample I found, and also is recording the whole piece directly like the 4ms Wav Recorder.

In Ableton I added later on a bit of compression and EQ to even out the sounds.

I have published the first ALBUM that is acompilation of songs, some from this year and some older called "Hipotese". It is available in the streaming platforms and bandcamp. Go check it out!

How to approximate a VHIKK X with Magerit Laniakea and Befaco Oneiroi

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"Yeah, I FHIXXED IT. I own a VHIKK X. I had to have one, and waited for it for six months. But I completely overlooked the powerhouse I had lying around, gathering dust. Laniakea is a relatively cheap 220 euro module, and I guess - not sure - many of you have an Oneiroi - or an eye on it. If you'd combine those two, you'd open a SuperCluster and sometimes it will make the VHIKK X blush. Again, this proves for me that the best sounds you can imagine may already be hiding in the gear you already own. Next time you hear a 'must have', you may already have it."
