Hydrasynth Presets with Juno 60 / 106 style analog chorus
video upload by Tena Lock (Tenalock)
"Decided to do another video about the Hydrasynth trying to capture that magical Roland Juno 106 and Juno 60 using presets I programmed. Using the magic of bucket brigade analog chorus.
You can see me turning off the chorus on the Hydrasynth sometimes, and sometimes leaving it on because it sounds better to my ears. If you turn off the Hydrasynth chorus it can be better because it doesn’t sound over the top and cause phasing that makes it sound worse.
When you see the cost of plugin chorus like Roland cloud Juno 60 chorus for $160 but then you can buy and analog chorus that does (imo) an even better job for $120 you might think the world has gone crazy lol ( the in version 2 of the chorus pedal - much better)
You can’t hear the Hydrasynth effects of the built chorus here when the pedal is off because you have to use a mono out into the stereo chorus.
If you want to hear the output of the Hydrasynth stereo chorus head here:"

9 Most Famous Synthesizer Sounds Ever - played on Hydrasynth
video upload by Tena Lock (Tenalock)
"Well I had an ideas to make famous synthesizer sounds for Hydrasynth and give them away. I’ll drop the link tomorrow, I am falling asleep, as usual it took 5 times longer than I thought to everything done.
I started off with Ben Bohmer and Beyond abeles lead, I though why not to a modern track mixed in with vintage ones.
Then Daft Punk, Europe- the final Countdown, Duran Duran, Axel F Harold Faltemyer and the unison sweep from Rush originally on the OBx I think.
So much nostalgia in these classic synth sound and very happy with the results"

ASM Hydrasynth TouchOSC Bidirectional Editor by synth_nyc

via synth_nyc
"It took me 6 weeks to develop the editor because I had to reverse engineer 3729 Program SYSEX bytes with no specifications; and implement 701 NRPN commands with partial specifications. It is the most complex MIDI implementation I’ve ever seen.

Hotone Verbera Convolution Reverb + Synthesizer Demo
video upload by HotoneAudio
"Step into a universe of lush, immersive soundscapes with the Hotone Verbera. In this video, we explore unique presets paired with expressive IRs, showcasing how Verbera transforms a synthesizer’s tone into a cinematic journey. From deep ambient washes to rhythmic, pulsing reverbs, discover the power of convolution and algorithmic reverb in one compact pedal.
Featured Presets & IRs:
00:07 - 001 - Verbera / IR: Space VAB Sd
00:41 - 024 – Multi Universe / IR: Time Slip
01:18 - 028 – Disco Elysiumt / IR: Ping Pong Fun
02:10 - 062 - Flap Wings / IR: Rain Field
Perfect for synth players, guitarists, and sonic explorers alike."

Ever imagined your sound echoing through a sold-out stadium? Or reverberating off the metallic walls of a NASA spacecraft hangar? What if your guitar fell into a cosmic white hole… or drifted through the vaulted ceilings of a centuries-old cathedral?
Welcome to Verbera — where imagination meets reality. This is not your typical software convolution plugin. Verbera is a standalone, hardware-based convolution reverb pedal — with Instant IR loading, stunning tweakability, and boundless sonic range. Whether you’re recreating iconic spaces, vintage hardware, or crafting otherworldly reverbs never heard before, Verbera gives musicians and engineers a powerful new tool for both live and studio setups.
Step Into Iconic Spaces and Classic Gear with a Single Click
Verbera ships with 120 world-class impulse responses (IRs) — captured in breathtaking detail from legendary spaces like symphony halls, European cathedrals, even aerospace facilities. You’ll also find IRs modeled after classic studio gear like spring and plate reverbs. Massive or intimate, modern or retro — Verbera brings those sonic environments directly under your feet.
Reverbs from Another Dimension
Verbera isn’t just about realism — it’s about reinvention. Beyond the meticulously captured IRs, you’ll find a curated library of original Hotone-crafted IRs that stretch the limits of your imagination. Think sci-fi-inspired synth atmospheres, time-warping delay trails, shimmering textures pulled straight from a “white hole” in space. These are not your standard reverbs — they’re creative catalysts designed to inspire your next masterpiece.
Dual Reverb Engine for Deep-Dimensional Sound Design
At the heart of Verbera is a dual-engine design. On one side: the IR convolution engine, capturing the nuanced reflections of real spaces and gear. On the other: XR, a finely tuned algorithmic reverb that brings surreal, hyper-dimensional ambiance to your sound. Layer them. Shape them. And with a single tap, freeze the XR reverb to create endlessly evolving textures and ambient pads.
Cutting-Edge Convolution Tech, Instant IR loading
Powered by Hotone’s proprietary low-latency convolution engine, Verbera delivers studio-grade reverb tails — up to 10 seconds stereo or 20 seconds mono — without skipping a beat. Switch IRs on the fly with zero audio dropout. This is next-gen performance that blows past traditional limitations.

An Update from muSonics via Their Electronic Newsletter
via muSonics
It's Independence Week and while I had intended for this to go out on the 4th itself, I put a bit more work into something special for you which delayed it a few days. I hope that's okay with you.
I wanted to give everyone a status update on how things were going over here and also offer a couple of specials to celebrate. Out of respect for the dozen or so people who have been patient and trusting of me I'm going to let you know how things are going and then share a few cool deals.

TipTop Polyphonic Modular + ASM Hydrasynth : "Entangled State" by gattobus
video upload by gattobus
"This track came out of the blue while I was playing and experimenting with TipTop Audio Poly Modular System and my ASM Hydrasynth.
This patch sounds organic and deep, a perfect blend between analog and digital!
I loaded a custom wavetable on TTA Vortex 6 then I set up a classic signal path going through the poly filter (TTA Octopass) and the poly vca (TTA Octogain). Then I added some external modulations coming from Hydrasynth CV outs, which turned out to be the best keyboard controller for this incredible system!
Star of the show is TTA Resonator that adds a very organic and ethereal texture to the entire patch!
These are the modules in my system:
Vortex 6 Oscillator
ATX-1 VCO
Octopass Poly Filter
Octostages Poly Envelope x2
Octogain VCA
Octopus USB/MIDI interface
Octo I/O
Octovert
Resonator
Z-DSP 'ZVRB 80' Card.

Update: press release follows:
Ashun Sound Machines heightens Hydrasynth experience with new ASM Manager app and Firmware 2.2 update
LOS ANGELES, CA, USA/HONG KONG, CHINA: music hardware brand Ashun Sound Machines (ASM) is proud to introduce the new interaction-simplifying ASM Manager desktop application alongside the stage and studio reliability-improving Firmware 2.2 update for its critically acclaimed line of Hydrasynth digital wave morphing synthesizers — effectively enhancing their performance and usability in the process of doing so — as of May 15…
As a dedicated desktop application designed to simplify how users interact with their Hydrasynth, ASM Manager replaces ASM’s original Hydrasynth Manager with a refreshed UI (User Interface) and smoother workflow, making sound management more efficient and intuitive. Incorporated features include LIST VIEW for streamlined patch browsing; sorting by Patch name, Category, and Color; searching by Patch name; color
tagging directly within the browser; organising by Favorites; integrated UPDATE DEVICE facility for simplified firmware installation; and EXPORT LIST of patch banks as Microsoft Excel® list files for easy referencing. It is fair to say, then, that ASM Manager enhances everyday interaction with Hydrasynth — whether organising sound libraries, performing updates, or customising Favorites.
Firmware 2.2 focuses on performance enhancements, improved system stability, and adding seamless compatibility with ASM Manager. Indeed, it ensures that every Hydrasynth model delivers consistent and reliable operation on stage and in the studio. Since the original Hydrasynth Keyboard and Hydrasynth Desktop debuted in 2019, followed by the flagship Hydrasynth Deluxe and compact Hydrasynth Explorer in 2021, the Hydrasynth family has earned a reputation for its sonic depth, expressive performance capabilities, and forward-thinking interface. Its latest updates continue to refine that foundation.
Acting as a fresh source of inspiration to accompany its introduction of the new interaction-simplifying ASM Manager desktop application alongside the stage and studio reliability-improving Firmware 2.2 update, ASM is offering Hydrasynth Special Edition Patch Bank as an exclusive collection of 128 new patches created by some of the top sound designers in the industry. It showcases the expressive power and versatility of the Hydrasynth engine, covering a wide range of sonic territory from ambient textures to bold, playable leads, and is available to download — from here: https://www.ashunsoundmachines.com/downloads — for free, ready to import into ASM Manager itself.
Hydrasynth Keyboard, Hydrasynth Desktop, Hydrasynth Deluxe, and Hydrasynth Explorer are available to purchase via ASM’s growing global network of dealers/distributors (http://www.ashunsoundmachines.com/dealers) at a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) of $1,299.00 USD; $799.00 USD; $1,799.00 USD; and $599.00 USD, respectively, and a MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of €1,899.00 EUR; €1,119.00 EUR; €2,499.00 EUR; and €789.00 EUR, respectively.
The Firmware 2.2 update is available for free for owners of all Hydrasynth models; for further information on installation and what is included, download the Firmware 2.2 Pack — including ASM Manager, a changelog, and a Quick Start Guide — from here: https://www.ashunsoundmachines.com/downloads

Tech Talk: Vitalic (Electronic Beats TV)
video upload by Telekom Electronic Beats TV
"Electronic Beats returns with another Tech Talk, this time we took a trip to Paris to visit the studio of Pascal Arbez aka Vitalic / Dima. Pascal initially began his career on French Techno label Choice under his Dima alias, releasing a series of original works as well as remixing the likes of Daft Punk, Björk, Royksopp and Paul Kalkbrenner, a striking sign of his ability to craft greatness in the studio.
He went on to then launch his alter-ego Vitalic and released numerous albums and EP’s for Different/[PIAS] Recordings as well as material for Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant, his ‘Poney’ EP on DJ Hell’s Gigolo Records and of course his own Citizen Records imprint.
Vitalic also forms the duo KOMPROMAT with Rebeka Warrior (ex Sexy Sushi), is currently celebrating twenty years of his career and the release of his fifth album DISSIDÆNCE. We took a trip to find out what keeps this powerhouse producer stirring after decades in the game and discover all of the machines and technologies that were used to create his impressive and extensive back catalogue and his new album 'Dissidaence'."
