The Spirit is interesting in that there have been two for sale for several years on e-bay with ridiculous prices (currently $3795, $4800) that have never sold. Every new one that comes along sets the price at a similar value (this one $3899) and then languishes. These prices are almost twice what I last saw one go for ($2200) years ago, before someone arbitrarily decided they were worth so much, despite not being able to sell them. I wonder if these high prices are because they were purchased for a reasonable price ($2200) and then taken to the shop for a month of restoration... anyone care to speculate?
ReplyDeleteThis one belongs to "minime". It's probably the same Spirit that's reposted time and time again. I doubt he keeps getting them in all the time. It's been on the block who knows how many times. Other ones come and go, but most of the time, it's this exact same one. And it never sells. I've been wanting one of these since 1995, and i'll never get one at these retarded prices.
