I almost bought one of these when they were new. I ended up buying an Arp Omni II instead. What a %%#$^&*%$# I was! Now the Roland VP-330 is trading for over $3000 on the used market. You're lucky if you get $150 out of an Arp Omni.

I wouldn't dislike to own an omni 2, but would never give my VP330 up.
The price of this one seems a bit high though.
At the same time I think if the prices of these beasts now are high it's also because of the Vangelis effect.
Yeah, in a lot of ways the VP-330 had more to do with the sound of Blade Runner than the CS-80.
