Transoniq Hacker

via this auction
"Transoniq Hacker was an independent magazine full of reviews of and tips for the use of Ensoniq samplers and sequencers.

I have no idea what these might be worth, so I am starting the auction at 99p per copy. After all, these are extremely rare now.

There are 98 of these in the collection, in suprisingly good condition spanning the years 1986 to the last issue on Oct/Nov 1999.

Issues included are as follows:

#11, Nov 86 (old style, black and white)

Issue# 39 (Sep 88), issue #40, #42 - 46, #59, #56, #77.

And then a complete run from issue 86, Aug 92 to the last issue # 172/173on Oct/Nov 1999.

Also included is a back issues data sheet.

Worthy of mention is issue #89 (slightly grubbier than the others) which contains a preview of the ASR-10.

Also issues 114, 116 and 117 which contain a 3 part series on the use of disktracks.

My other Ensoniq items will follow on EBay in due course."

  1. If in some highly unlikely chance, that the person who won these issues *might* be reading this.. It would be insanely cool if you scanned any issues and uploaded the pdf files to the Transoniq Hacker archive.. Once you get done laughing your butt off at this request, please just *consider* it. You'd be a hero to all the people who wish to read as many issues of this magazine as possible. Transoniq Hacker archives currently only have a handful of the issues that were made.
