"An idea to use noise generator to two sample & hold modules. Each S&H is sent to an oscillator and one osc is outputting a sawtooth waveform and the other osc is outputting a ramp waveform. These two are mixed and sent to the Linear Frequency input of a third oscillator. The patch is a simple sheperd tone generator. The variety comes from the random voltages from the noise and S&H modules. The third source of pitch control is the sequencers. One sequencer is sending pitch voltage to the third oscillator. The other sequencer is controlling LFO's, pulse width and panning modules.
The effect reminded me of snoring. A sort of slow breathing with unexpected sound effects."
