This synth boasts surprising potential with 2 fully controllable DCOs per voice and other parameters such as cross modulation and a random waveform selectable for the LFO that set this little synth apart from other analog synths of the same era. Furthermore this synth has a built in sequencer (stepwise control) and a midi control interface that make the synth all the more versatile. Contrary to popular belief, this synth is surprisingly editable as is using the edit chart located in the upper right hand corner of the synth. Editing is done using an alpha slider, labeled “Sens”, and the location of each parameter setting is displayed by the row of LEDs along the patch selector buttons. This particular JX-3P is in excellent shape with only a few minor scratches as can be seen in the pictures. This synth is completely functional. The “Sens” slider for this synth is a little touchy due to lack of use for the past few years, however once you figure out how it reacts you will have no problems editing with it and I believe it will become even better as it is used more often. The presets on this synth sound phenomenal with some of the best analog strings you can find. If you enjoy analog and want a reliable synth that will integrate well into any modern music production setup (as it has midi), then this is the best little powerhouse you are going to find! I am also selling the PG-200 controller in another auction, which is not essential but a very nice little add-on for controlling the JX-3P"
