Note this is test equipment, and not a "synth."
"Here is a Bradley 2B, 2A Frequency Translation And Harmonic Distortion Module And Jitter And Hit Synthesizer Test Set. It powers up, but we cannot test further, so it will be offered AS-IS, UNTESTED."
Update: some more info captured here.

This was used by John Titor with his time travel machine to test and correct temporal inputs distortion and forward mass distribution plots. see: http://johntitor.strategicbrains.com/TimeMachine.cfm
ReplyDeleteAny idea what kinds of audio you'd be able to get out of this thing?
ReplyDeleteI have one of these, it can generate and process sound. I use it for noise shows, cause it kicks ass. It has a source signal that can be frequency, phase, and amplitude modulated. It also has a white noise generator and a "hit" generator that causes rhythmic pulsations that can be adjusted. You can plug all kinds patch cords into it and get some really torqued out nuttiness. I rarely use additional processing when using this live, it has a lot of power and can be easily overloaded for great distortion effects.
