"This Roland Tr-808 has built in Kenton Midi, including midi in, out and thru. It allows you to start the Tr-808 sequences externally along with triggering the Tr-808 sounds externally. It also lets you use the TR-808 and a midi to din sync converter, allowing you to start a tb-303, tr-909 or other din sync machine going through the midi from the Tr-808.

This Tr-808 also comes with all the original materials, including

    I've borrowed one exactly like this from a mate. I'm new to outboard gear and would really like to sync the 808 with my ableton (live 8) Also because the regular start/stop button is broken... Could anyone put me on the right path here?
