"Carmella" - with Roland D-20

YouTube via organfairy | September 28, 2010

"Strangely enough some notes are missing. I think the reason is that the Roland can only process a limited amount of notes at the same time.

I made this song as a workstation file where the D-20 plays on it's own while controlling the Yamaha HE-8 organ and the Roland JX-8P synthesizer. But since it can become a little boring just to watch the instrument play by itself I did a little montage about a recent repair of the disc drive.

The song was originally recorded by Taco Ockerse and release on his 1982 album 'After Eight' though in some parts of the world this album was released as 'Puttin' on the ritz'."
