MATRIXSYNTH Skin for Firefox
If you are running Firefox, like black, green, and clean, give it a try here. If anyone wants to make the equivalent for other browsers, go for it. The image in this post is the one I used. I just went with the minimum graphic size in black and placed the image on the top right corner. Font color is #00FF00.

Looks great! Only issue I have is that the title bar of the window is then black on black (Mac Firefox). I don't know if you can change that in "personas" or not.
ReplyDeleteOK so how do I undo this ???? most of the page is great but I get green text on grey background on my iconized bookmarks that are illegible - I wanna go back

ReplyDeletePersonas are a funny business. Many looks good for awhile, but then cause an issue, or are more wearing on the eyes that originally thought. The feel of this one is good overall. I just wonder how long I can deal with the high contrast before my eyes get fatigued.
ReplyDeleteOf course it's all personal taste and how your current profile is set. I'm on a mac and I work a lot at night. I hate bright screens and I like black, simple skins. So far I love this one. Before it I was using the Pink Floyd Dk Side skin, but I didn't like the tie dye status bar. I prefer all black so I made this one. No grey in my profile - all black. The title is black on black, but I never really need/look at it. I mainly rely on my tabs for the site I'm on. So far so good. I've been using this one for about a week so far and will probably keep it.
ReplyDeleteThe persona is working great for me. All my toolbar links are easy to read with the classic matrix colors. Simple and lovable. It'll be my theme for quite some time....
