The recordings are not altered, I have justed added some plugin compression to even out the sounds.

Sample 1:First, standard snare (no cable inserted).
Then, when the BD kicks in, some white noise from a Korg MS20 plugin is inserted into the 808's snare circuit.
You can hear when I open the LP filter of the MS20 plug at 0:14, leading to a brighter snare sound.
Sample 2:
A bright synth pad is routed to the CYMB / HH circuit of the 808.
Then I'm tweaking the Cymbal sound on the 808.
From 0:15 to 0:20 you hear the untreated 808 Cymbals, then the cable with the external synth pad is plugged in again.Sample 3:
Different kinds of ext. noise routed to CYMB / HH.
Later in the clip, I'm demoing the switch toggling the reverb of the Claps (on/off).
After that you hear a cheesy synth pad routed through the 808's clap circuit."
