This is a genuine analogue Poly synth with real analogue oscilators (the Junos had DCOs Not VCOs) and filters, for BIG 4 voice pads and Stacked unison lead and bass sounds This JP does NOT have MIDI, but you can buy the IO kit and fit it very easily yourself for 98 Euros.
A few things that make this so special:
2 Envelopes per voice, one for Filter, one for VCA
There is a Fiter modulating Sample and Hold circuit which is clocked to the arpggiator for some great sequencer effects for undulating rhythmic pads.
Random Arpeggiator (THIS is the synth all over Durans RIO )
The LFO alos goes into the audio range for some great FM style sounds.
