The Vestax PAD-One is a solid robust MIDI pad controller, compatible with various DJ & DAW software and can be used to control any kind of MIDI device, including synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, and electronic drums.

  1. It all depends on weather or not the pads send note offs when released. Korg completely failed with the nano-pad. I will be forever cautious and not believe any marketing until I get the thing in my hands and try it myself.
    Thanks to matrixsynth however, i now have a nano x/y controller without the drum pads... (hacked them off).

  2. I am fond of Vestax gear. They use metal where others use plastic.

    I bought their cheapest DJ mixer and it wasn't really more expensive than other brands. But the buttons and faders feel really solid and the case is made of strong metal.
