1981 Soviet Consumer Electronics Catalog

This one spotted by Eric Barbour of METASONIX

"Including an 'Elektronika 003' keyboard, 'Elektronika RITM' drumbox, and two 'Spektr' effect pedals. The videotape recorders were mostly B&W only, and 15 years behind the Japanese VCRs of 1981 in technology.

And it didn't matter anyway---even though these prices were very low, the average Russian could not afford 95% of the contents of this catalog. A small portable TV was 160 roubles, at a time when the average factory worker made 140 roubles/month and a retired pensioner made maybe 60 roubles/month."
