Buchla 296e Inspired - on Symbolic Sound's Kyma

"Buchla 296e inspired patch written in KYMA.

Here's the real deal vimeo.com/17214189

I posted on the Kyma forum wondering if Kyma could simulate this and some members stepped up, particularly "Keph" (aka Ben) who created and fine-tuned this patch written in Kyma as a simulation of what the Buchla module is doing. He kinda went crazy and added all sorts of additional controls.

This is essentially 2x16 band modal filters that are animated across a stereo A/B buss. Independent animation of frequency amplitude and bandwidth (q) of each band.

This is one drum loop through this filter dry, no other effects."
