This sounds better than the other Saturn video I saw. When I heard the other one, I was dissuaded from considering one I saw on auction. Roland was marketing their "09" series as a polyphonic system. In the early 2000's Roland had an RS-09 that wasn't a string synth.
ReplyDeleteI had one a few years back, and regrettable sold it. The only thing I didn't like about it though was you could pretty much get ONE sound out of the thing, and the syle of music I played didn't call for that 70s home organ cheese.
ReplyDeletejust picked up a roland rs-09 and am really happy with it. im still curious whether or not the roland saturn is actually the one i was looking for. was looking for a nice stable portable combo organ--seems like the saturn does it much better and has more options for people looking specifically for organ/combo organ sounds. all the reviews say the rs-09 is superior to the saturn, but im not completely sure that is true... best video online that shows what the saturn's capabilities http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx-To0xDHVI
