"THIS WAS ASSEMBLED NOVEMBER 6th 1973 AND TESTED 13th NOVEMBER 1973 THE SERIAL NUMBER IS "A 1139" THE MOOG 1130 IS AN ELECTRO-ACOUSTICAL PERCUSSION TRANSDUCER FOR USE WITH MOOG PERFORMANCE SYNTHESIZERS. EACH TIME THE HEAD IS STRUCK, A SHORT TRIGGER AND A CONTROL SIGNAL CHANGE ARE PRODUCED. THE TWO-PRONG PLUG PRODUCES AN S-TRIG FOR USE WITH THE MINIMOOG. THE BLACK PHONE PLUG DELIVERS THE FULL CONTROL SIGNAL. THE RED PHONE PLUG DELIVERS THE SAME CONTROL SIGNAL AS THE BLACK PLUG , BUT IS ATTENUATED BY THE SCALE CONTROL. YOU PLAY IT WITH STICKS, MALLETS, OR BY HAND."
