This is the model before the TR-808 and shares some similarities but uses large button matrix to select different preset styles. everything works as it should. this is an old unit and so some discolouration on the case can be seen, along with a couple of tiny marks from use. (see pics for details) one preset button is a little sticky but comes good when used. This CR-8000 (pictured on right) has been heavily modified by a professional musician & veteran synthesizer guy. The work is top grade. mods include tonal mods and trigger/audio out interface, laminated overlay, BD with infinite sustain, overdrive and tuning effects, noise adjust and full control over most of the sound parameters of the machine.
