  1. does anybody knows if this device could allow me to program a DX7 from yamaha since i guess the way it works is through MIDI so i don't know if that could work or if it is just working for roland devices like the Jupiter

  2. Likely not. The the synth engines and parameters are different. The DX7 is an FM synth and the Alpha Juno's the PG-300 is made for are analog. Different parameters and different MIDI mappings. That said if any MIDI CC values match they would edit the DX7 but overall it would not be a good match.
