Analog / Digital Synth

"Each button does controls sixteen different parameters. Each knob adjusts sixteen different parameters. The Evolver is a compact synth with incredible depth.
Three months later, I'm still in awe of the Evolver and constantly inspired by it. If I could have only one hardware synth, it might have to be an Evolver. Not because the Evolver can do everything, but because it can do many unusual things. It makes you pause and think, but it also inspires."

you are absolutely right my friend!
ReplyDeletei happen to be in the same constant situation.
A 16x16 matrix of controls, how appropriate for the name of this blog. :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic piece of kit. I've got every parameter mapped to my BCR2000. A Polyevolver PE would be my dream synth but to be honest I'm still getting SO much out of the desktop version that I think it would be a waste! I really enjoy sampling it for oneshots or mapping it across the keyboard for polyphonic awesomeness.
