via this auction"Up for auction is a vintage EMU Emax sampler Rack serial # 001. This synth comes with one floppy disk that has some orchestral sounds to get you started. It is in near perfect conditon phisically and only has a couple minor scratches on the case. All functions work perfectly and loads samples fine. The one problem I did find is there is a large pop when this sucker is powered on. I am not sure what the deal is- I have seen people sell power supplies for these on ebay before so maybe this is an issue with these machines. Overall this synth is physically awesome. You can tell that this synth is still possibly in the prototype stage due to the strange plastic stickers that mark the individual outputs on the back. I was given this synth by the original owner and it has been racked its entire life in a smoke free studio. This auction will include the synth, a power cable and one disk... Here is a chance to own a peice of sampler history!..."
