via this auction"I bought this is the late 1997, it had signs of battery acid leakage, but I was told by a guy at Guitar Center that all I needed was the proper power supply and it should work. It worked and I used it for a few months, wrote a few tracks, then all of a sudden I smelled an electrical fire and ozone, next thing I know the thing shuts off. I opened it up and sure enough there was a huge hole melted through the motherboard under the power supply plug input..."
