Somatic Circuits: VC-303 Bass Synth

"Coming soon, the VC-303 Bass Synth. According to the manufacturer it is a "100% clone of the classic bassline synth in a modern modular format." We will be stocking the Eurorack version.

this isnt a 100% clone since it uses lm358 opamps, also it uses the ba6110 vca and the x0xb0x vca design without giving credit.
ReplyDeleteEssentially its a x0xb0x without sequencer which is breaking the open source license (due to the vca section)
This is really what I have wanted to see in a modular format for a long time.
ReplyDeleteA single voice in a module, I hope to see more units similar to this in the future. It is a way to create a true poly modular.
Now someone needs to come out with a sting synth voice, osc with PWM, 12db filter, vca
