You might remember Sound8 from this previous post.It's a very cool app that let's you play with up to eight samples at a time. You click on the screen and a small circle appears. The circle plays a sampled loop. Moving the circle adjusts the volume and pitch of the sample, one on each axis. You can move the circle by moving it with your finger, flicking it, or via the accelerometer by moving the device. You can add up to eight circles/samples on the screen at once all of which move independently. If you remember from my last post, one thing I wished it could do was bounce off of the walls so it could continue to morph. This has been added to v 1.1. You can also adjust the speed of movement so you can get slow morphs going or extreme. Drum loops and basically any sample can get pretty interesting especially when they are playing off of each other. As mentioned before, you can load your own samples via SoundCloud.
