Maplin Echorder EC444 Analog Delay Unit

via this auction

"Pure, dirty analog delay. The Maplin Echorder is a low-fi but spectacular analog delay unit which is a breathe of fresh air in today's ultra clean digital effect days."

  1. I just picked up the Gemini branded version of this product. It's a pretty short delay time type machine with maybe just one BBD chip inside. I opened it up and there is a trim pot for the "repeat" that controls the oscillation and the tone of the delays so now it sounds really warm but is slightly limited as to what it can do. In a good way.
