Always wondered why someone doesn't manufacture a patch cable with a momentary switch in the middle of it for that very purpose. I don't own any modular equipment so maybe I'm missing something. Would the voltage increase/decrease at such a fast rate be damaging to modules? Seems like it would add another level to playing complex patches in real time.
