"Part Squarewave Synth, part workshop Tool.
This machine is built from a handful of Logic 4000 IC's, a few Vactrol's and a Lo-Fi Effects Processor from an old Voice Changer Toy -

Two Gates on a 4093 generate a pair of Oscillators, first 'Clock' Oscillator Drives a 4040 acting as a Frequency Divider. The Divided down Frequencies are then used to drive a 4051 Multiplexer, which cycles it's gates through a resistance ladder used to modulate the second 'Tone' Oscillator from the 4093.
Finaly a 4017 is used to generate an 8-Step Sequencer, which is driven by the Frequency Divider and used as a pitch Accent.

Metal bolts are used to patch / Re-Patch the modules and are very useful in the workshop, to measure oscillations and sequence DIY gear.

Thanks to Nick Collins and the rest of the internet for ideas, and schematics :)"
